The standards are accepted worldwide and ensure that any products required under a separate standard will meet the specifications fit the criteria listed, regardless of the home produce.

  • DIN - Deutsches Institut für Normung (German Standards Institute).
Most of today's bolt fasteners are manufactured according to this standard, they were created long before the advent of ISO. DIN standards applicable in all the products. DIN standards are currently being revised to conform more closely with the ISO.
  • ISO - International Organization for Standardization.
Founded in 1946, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. The organization announced that national standards should be required to vote and apply. ISO currently includes more than 150 member states. ISO standards for the type of fasteners Bolts are quickly recognized and in the coming years is likely to become the world standard.
  • ANSI - American National Standards Institute.
A US organizations have developed standards that are mostly in agreement with ISO.
  • JIS - Japanese Industrial Standards.
